Be prepared with supplies

I was wearing my (handknit!) winter hat in the morning, and then switched over to a baseball cap as the morning/afternoon rolled on.

Be prepared with sufficient supplies for your hike. If you are bringing your dog, make sure you also bring supplies for it.
